INSTRUCTOR BIO: Shelly Todd

Skin Kin owner and seasoned esthetician, Shelly Todd, has over a decade of beauty experience at her multiple facial studios.  Shelly graduated beauty school in 2012 from Portland Beauty School in Portland Oregon.  She then went on to start her own facial studio: Revive Skin Services, in Bend, Oregon.  She grew to open studios also in Lake Oswego, Oregon and Troutdale, Oregon before moving to Georgia in 2021, where she opened and ran studios in Adairsville, Calhoun and Kennesaw, Georgia, while still flying back to run her clinics and treat clients in Oregon.  Shelly is licensed in Georgia, Oregon and held a license in North Carolina. 

Shelly is a business owner, esthetician, business manager, esthetics writer, commercial landlord, educator, marketing pro and has been certified in many esthetic modalities as well as trained by many professional skincare product and machine companies like Eminence, Circadia, Skin Script, CynoSure, Skin Classic and many more.  She has taken advanced skin courses with Oregon Health and Science University and UCLA and has attended industry conventions religiously every year since she’s been licensed as an esthetician to keep up on new trends and skincare science.  She strives to learn everything there is to know about skin. 

Shelly has dedicated her life to helping her clients with their beauty and skin issues.  She has certifications in dermaplaning, facial lymphatic drainage, microdermabrasion, microneedling, Skin Classic, L.E.D Light Therapy, Oncology Esthetics, FDA regulation on skincare ingredients, Gua Sha, Peels and peel layering techniques and SO MUCH MORE.  She not only has the training but she has been hands on with clients and in the business trenches for over 13 years and continues to run and grow her multiple businesses.

Mrs. Todd has not only been running her own successful solo skincare practice for over a decade; she also cultivated her own organic skincare line in 2013. Formerly known as Revive Organic Skin Care, the company was rebranded and the name was changed in 2020 to J Renee Organics.  Her all-natural skincare brand is sold online on her website, on social medica and at her locations across the U.S.  The brand is set to roll out a wholesale program as well as backbar line focusing on the smaller-scale needs of solo estheticians in 2025.

Mrs. Todd has been voted Best Esthetician, Best Skin Clinic and Best Spa in multiple locations/cities/states and strives to learn all there is to know about skin, skin science, ingredients and specialize in natural, sensitive skin treatment.
